My cancer RAdiation

A year ago August, I was diagnosed with breast cancer resulting in a uni-lateral mastectomy in October, 2018.   I came through the surgery easily and effortlessly, and commenced 25 treatments of radiation in December for five weeks.    During the radiation period, creams were prescribed which were helpful, but very thick, greasy and messy.   Upon the completion of the radiation, my skin was badly burned, especially under my arm.   All I wanted was something soft and smooth, like lanolin, to apply on the burned area.   I went to Olivers on Stony Point, and asked the clerk if she could recommend something to me.    She immediately told me the story about the horse and the EquiSoft product.   I applied the cream daily to the scar area and under my arm, and felt immediate relief (just what I wanted . . . something soft and soothing).   I have been using EquiSoft daily now for approximately 10 months.   The scar and the radiated area is barely noticeable,   I did tell the radiation oncologist about it, and hopefully she will recommend it to other patients.
I love the product and have shared the information with friends.  — Ingrid Mathews
